- simply write down the version of your BIOS.
- Download the correct BIOS upgrade for your system or motherboard.
- Install the BIOS upgrade loader & BIOS image to a floppy disk.
- After installation is complete , some upgrades run automatically; other requires that you choose the image from a menu, & prompt you to save your current BIOS image to a floppy disk.
- After the updated process starts, it takes about three minutes to re wright the contents of the BIOS chip with the updated information.
- Remove the floppy disk & restart the system to use your new BIOS features.
